Fantastic course
Fantastic course for players of all abilities, practice facilities are very good also to hit some balls on the range before hand with separate chipping greens & putting green for all round practice.Reviewer Rating

The best course in this area , superb greens and just as good tee boxes
Course is always in better condition than other courses in this area
Staff, facilities , practice areas also top notch
As a visitor they also gave me long Ashton pitch repairer , course guide and 25 range balls , where else would you get that ? Superb All round experience

Peter Allis called it a 'gem in the south west'
Awesome course, fantastic food and beverage section, large and inclusive membership all add up to a great venue for golf in the South West! I have played every course around and am hard pushed to think of a better course. If its good enough for Chris Wood then its good enough for me! Greens are lightning fast and the course plays differently everytime with lots of subtle cambers in the fairway kicking the ball in different directions.Reviewer Rating

First round at Long Ashton and its fair to say that this club has it all: excellent course in tremendous condition, great practice facilities and a country club feel with a buzzing club house. The views across south Bristol aren't bad either! Would join if I lived a bit closer.

Fab course but a bit expensive. Cant book a tee time so we had to wait for an hour before playing which meant we were pushed to get round in time.

Long Ashton is a challenging course although not long this makes it an ideal golf course for golfers of all levels, set in an idyllic tree lined location over looking the city of Bristol I cannot think of a better place to play in the Bristol area

Excellent course in great condition and with it's newly laid uspga greens a course to play all year round.

Surprised and disappointed to hear of your experience at LA. I joined just over 18mths ago after moving into the area and visiting a large number of potential new clubs. Have to say that I found (and continue to find) LA to be incredibly inclusive, welcoming and friendly. There's always a few 'so-and-sos' at any club but LA has far fewer than most places I have to say! I contacted the club via email just two days before wanting to visit and both the pro and chairman couldn't have been more helpful. I was invited to pitch up on a Sunday morning, given a courtesy and was asked to join in their group by the first members that came onto the 1st tee. By contrast I visited a neighbouring club where I was told I couldn't possibly play with any members I didn't know (new to the area so that wasn't much help!) and was invited to try 18 holes on my own. Maybe try again mate - Long Ashton's about as non-judgmental as it ever gets in golf ... and the course is excellent to boot!

The greens are very quick. The clubhouse and facilities very good. Driving range excellent. One of the best clubs in the area.

Friendly people, great food, but most of all an amazing course - greens lightning quick, challenging fairways (bunkers vary in quality of sand). Best course in the south west - and I have played most !
