Dissapointing
Sadly the course did not live uo to expectation, greens and fairways very poor, greens had been tinned recently but that said they were still poor, shame really because the layout is really nice.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 11.9)

Nice old school track
Nice layout with some tight and some forgiving holes. The course layout in generally fairly good.For the time of year the greens were in superb condition and ran very well.
Its a bit quirky in places as you move around the old racecourse and some of the next tee wern't brilliantly signposted but other than that an enjoyable round.

A very nice parkland course with the greens in excellent condition. Tough when the wind blows!

Course was in very good condition and I would definitely recomend getting a round in here. £50 for a non member seems very steap though...

I was a member here for 28 years, still the same friendly atmosphere and clubhouse /course in excellent condition for the time of year.

The layout of the course was nice, the condition of the greens could have been better. But enjoyable nonetheless it was quite a tough test.

Very freidnly and helpful services here at Newmarket golf club. The greens are well kept and the fare wares and very tidy. Lovely course to play on.

This is a tough course with long rough just off of the fairway, just keep it straight.

I always enjoy playing at Newmarket. It is very welcoming. It is always nice when members say hello and chat with you and the Pro Shop was equally friendly. This makes a difference. Of course, the golf course is good too!

Tricky course if you stray off of the fairways as the rough is very tough to play out of.
