What The Club Says
The course was designed in 1966 by course architect David Tucker and was described by Tony Jacklin during a visit in 1989 as having 'probably the toughest opening three holes in the Midlands'. The greens have been built to USGA specifications and the course is complimented by a clubhouse and professional shop which provides the finest of facilities.

Excellent views
A lovely course with excellent views especially on the back 9 holes spoilt only on the day with extremely slow play. The clubhouse is nice, a well stocked shop, the welcome was good in the bar, the shop not so. The catering was tasty and reasonably well priced. Just a pity the bar decided to close early so nothing available after the round, not sure whether that is a Monday thing or not but a real shame especially on a hot day as it was. The course was in very good condition, the greens were very fast and true. I enjoyed the day but was frustrated with the pace of play especially behind 4 juniors, who I have to say shouldn't have been on the course the way they were trying to hit a ball. All in all I would return and can recommend but need to look at the tee time very carefully not to get a repeat of today.Reviewer Rating

Hilly and picturesque
A lovely but hilly course set in a very picturesque part of the county. Front 9 fairly flat but still tricky holes with plenty of established trees to contend with. The back 9 is far more hilly with more quirky holes but never the less very enjoyable. The clubhouse and staff were welcoming and the catering was excellent. All in all a great visit and happy to recommend and revisit.Reviewer Rating
