Not Great

The reception staff were excellent and friendly, but the bar/catering staff were just awful and unwelcoming.
The Greens were terrible, no reward for a good tee shot, the ball could bounce anywhere.

Worth a visit

Hilly course, well laid out. Not easy due to slopes and well placed hazards.
All tee boxes were mats, but in reasonable condition allowing tees to be inserted. Greens and fairways in good condition, no lying water or lots of mud.

Interesting course, very hilly in places with undulating greens ,lots of blind tee shots and blind approach shots.

Played very difficult with a strong wind and very firm ground,

Greens were difficult to read and judge the pace.

If you can manage the climbs, the views & scenery are great. Rolling fairways with cambers rolling left & right. Feet rarely at the same level as the ball. Great greens with tricky pin positions today but not yet running at their smoothest just yet.

Attractive course

Atttractive course in the Chilterns, with some steep hills. Well laid out with some tricky holes. Greens fast but very bobbly and scarred on our visit, but still an enjoyable course to play

A great club, with a challenging course, currently using a couple of winter greens but the course is in great condition for the time of year.

Best course with elevated tees & view

Thoroughly enjoyed another round ascending & descending a variety of holes. Weather was poor but greens held up well & remained hard to read & fairways true. Hope to get back soon on a dryer day.

Enjoyable and challenging course with a few hills to climb. A thinkers course as opposed to a blaster! Great condition, good clubhouse, excellent food.
