What the club says: Beaconsfield is an interesting, well-maintained course with each of the holes having different characteristics. The course remains basically the same as when it was originally designed in 1913 by HS “Harry” Colt and it has many of his trademark features. In particular it is very well bunkered and has unusually large greens. Apart from the 8th hole it offers very easy walking. Over the years many trees have been planted, which enhance the beauty of the course and isolate the holes from each other in attractive, tranquil surroundings.
What Golfshake says:
Most Helpful Review
The course is very nicely laid out and is setup to be fair for both low and high handicappers. However, one bug-bear about this course was the lack of sand in some bunkers. I give the course a very good instead of excellent because of the inconsistency in bunker quality.

Golf Course Reviews for Beaconsfield Golf Club
What a lovely, mature course. An excellent layout, a challenge for low and high handicappers.

Great all round. Rain stayed off, course was wet but only one puddle on a green.
(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 16.9)
This has to be one of the best courses in the South of England. The greens were fast, true and tricky, the course layout was excellent and the clubhouse was really lovely. Just a joy.
