What the club says: Beaconsfield is an interesting, well-maintained course with each of the holes having different characteristics. The course remains basically the same as when it was originally designed in 1913 by HS “Harry” Colt and it has many of his trademark features. In particular it is very well bunkered and has unusually large greens. Apart from the 8th hole it offers very easy walking. Over the years many trees have been planted, which enhance the beauty of the course and isolate the holes from each other in attractive, tranquil surroundings.

Brilliant club
My second time at Beaconsfield GC and I cannot fault anything. From the welcome in the pro shop and from members through to the excellent breakfast before our round, everything was perfect. The course was in superb condition, faultless greens and good pace of play Eben though we played as a two ball behind a society.
I cannot recommend this club high enough and will definitely come back for a visit again.
Many thanks for a great day

This is a lovely and superbly maintained golf course, coupled with great practice facilities and a charismatic clubhouse. Definitely worth a visit.
I wouldn't rate it as spectacular or overly scenic but it is a delight to play, a mix of parkland and heathland holes with subtle greens. It's slope rating is over stated, it is very scoreable which adds to the enjoyment.

Great Course in tip top condition
Lovely Club house and staff. The heathland course is in superb condition and benefits from virtually all year play with good drainage and elevated site. Tees to suit all handicaps

Morning round at Beaconsfield
Nice dewy morning at Beaconsfield. Invited by a member and there are no tee times on a weekend morning with people allowed to go off when clear. Course in very good condition and greens are fast. A medium length course at just over 6000 yards but is a challenge due to the tree lined fairways. An enjoyable round, would recommend to play it if you get the opportunity.

I played a society event and found the day to be excellent. The course was in excellent condition despite recent wet weather. The greens were very good and true.
The quality of the clubhouse and facilities is very good and the catering was very good.
I played very well but I don't think that has affected my opinions.

Cold day with lots of coffee but a pretty steady round. Not a bad way to end the season.

Interesting course. Played for the first time in February so conditions were not great. Many bunkers were GUR and no reasonable drop zones provided. Greens very quick for the time of year although I couldn't get the pace possibly due to not having used the practice green before starting. Some punishing areas (bomb crater) not visible from the tee. Quite hilly in places.
