What the club says: The Halstock Golf Club offers a full 18 hole course in a parkland setting close to Yeovil. The Club offers all the facilities you’d expect of one the best golf courses and clubs in the area. For your convenience out on the course, both electric and petrol buggies are available. You can also hire trolleys and clubs. This charming yet testing golf course includes several water hazards and there are plenty of trees all around, so good club selection and accuracy is essential for a good score.

Once a nice 9 hole course that expanded to 18 under its original owner and was a forward looking venue, and family run. When the family retired, it never stayed as good and after a couple of attmpts to r-open, has now closed completely

Very poorly kept, fairways and greens. Most of the greens are off, some of the fairways have random mounds of soil on them!! Wouldn't play again.

Really enjoyed the course. It was tight and short. The driving range was very poor and the lay out of the club house was a bit bewildering (i'm not sure if they had a club shop). They could also do with some more signage from the main road.

This course is work in progress lots being done on the club house as you drive in. The course itself is tight but akward in places. Frost greens are not defined enough you have to guess where the green starts very much pot luck. Some fairways very boggy but to be expected this time of year.good Food in the club house is great enough to feed an army on my plate. hot too!!! .£4.25 for 2 eggs 3 bacon+loads of chips.over all very good will go back in the summer when things have been sorted out.Despite what it say online its £15.00 per round not £12.00 as we thought. Bar manager was very freindly and helpfull .
