This was a considerable surprise. I had not expected much given the the generous green fee but some of the holes were very good. 2nd was a very good risk and reward par 5, 6th a very pretty par 4/5 along the river. 9th played as a par 3 a challenging closing hole.

Warm weather caused a dry green and I have only been used to wet ground waised shots resulted.

Nice weather course has improved but I failed to take any notice of the dry ground resulting in a few extra shots

Played today and for the time of year the course is in very good condition the greens are excellent and quick! There are 7 new tees being made with competition tees too, a very testing course, you need to really think about your course management playing here, you won't be disappointed.

played this course twice on 12 / 13 sept 2011 and was incredibly windy on the 12th and breezy on the 13th. course for a 9 holer is long and a good challenge with thick rough for errant shots but nice fairways for straight shots. greens were well tended and were cut each morning. for only £10 per round this is an excellent value for money course. will like to play it again when it isnt so windy.
