Played a two ball here we were behind a comp but the game flowed Freeley the course was going through a period of Maintenace which was explained to us prior to tee off this affected the greens quite badly so the fee was reduced wse were made very welcome back in the club house

Hainsworth is usually in good condition, but on my visit this time it looks like they are having problems with the greens. It was just putting on mud for the most part, maybe 3 or 4 greens that was okay.

Greens really scabby, dark brown patches everywhere or full of sand. Good course layout though. Could be a good course if ther greens were looked after properly. £25 too much at present

Very Well Kept
Played 13/6 and the course was in excellent condition. Edges of bunkers trimmed, rough not too silly for the wayward golfer but still and punishment and the greens were wonderful.Reviewer Rating

greens had been hollow tined and were also a bit wooly. course is a good challenge and not just one for driving every hole. plenty of tight fairways and the greens are well protected by tactically positioned trees and hedges.

Nice place. Staff welcoming and helpful.
Course played well for early march and greens nice pace.
I didn't play very well on the day but that's not the venues fault. On another day some opportunities to score well here.

A lovely parkland course in a quiet location. The course is well protected by lots of mature trees and it drains really well as its on gravel so it's nearly always open. Always a good welcome and really enjoy playing here.
