Great course

The driving range is excellent. The automated tee settings with plenty of heights is just what you want at a driving range and goood value for money.

Great Course and great facilities. Beautiful parkland course with challenging greens. The food is excellent in the restaurant, particularly the sunday carvery.

With a 26 bay Driving Range, 9 hole par3 course & beautiful and well kept 18 hole parkland course. As well as footgolf facilities for those who have not fully grasped the love of golf yet! Foyle Golf Centre is a fantastic place to visit and spend time if your looking to play golf in Northern Ireland, situated close to the donegal border amd just five minutes outside of Derry city centre. Would firmly recommend this facility to anybody who enjoys the outdoors and sporting activities.

From booking the round by phone yesterday to completion of the round today everything was first class. The course is in great condition with the greens exceptional. The last time I played here was over 10 years ago and it really has matured into a fine course.

First time I played it was Oct 2013 ( first time I ever played in Ireland!). Had a great day out with my nephew Martin. Course well maintained considering the weather they had to contend with at that particular time. Very friendly and accommodating staff with a relaxed attitude, nothing was too much trouble. Members extremely friendly and helpful too, they treat you like long lost old friends. Great food in the club house! Great prices for both the golf and food. Will definitely be back!

A challenging 18 hole course with excellent facilities and well maintained....full restaurant facilities and new reception just opened. Par 3 course is fun as well. The driving range has about 24 bays and the online retailer GolfStoreEurope.com has just opened a new store here with 2 professionals. Also you can get fitted here using the latest Flightscope monitor. Everything golf in the one place.

Great golf course and facilities af Foyle golf centre. Long and challenging golf course. Superb clubhouse and practice facilities, with a very modern driving range, and they have recently added a new golf shop (golfstoreeurope) to the driving range making it one of the best facilities that i have ever visited. Highly recommend this golf centre for all levels of golf.

I always enjoy Foyle, prices are good especially the deals and the course itself is a lovely parkland which suits the longer hitter. The main challenges include water over 3 holes and a variety of tight driving holes where out of bounds comes into play. This summer the greens have been superb and the course has been developing into one of the best in the area.

Friendly club
A family run club in which the family put a lot of dedication into keeping the course in super condition.all year round. A friendly atmosphere generally but some players could do with reading the rules of etiquette and use of litter bins.Reviewer Rating

Course with a View
With views of the Donegal Hills on one side and the Waters of Lough Foyle on the other, Foyle Golf Course is more than a pleasant environment to pass a few hours particularly when the sun is shining and trees are in full bloom, which it has been this past week.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 22.7)

A good course that is well maintained with excellent greens and tee boxes. The course is maturing nicely and overall is a pleasant golfing experience with a variety of challenges including 3 holes where water comes into play. There is superb value for money at Foyle compared virtually with any other course I have played.

Room for Improvement
Foyle is a pleasant course to play and the grounds people work hard to keep it in good condition, However it still has a problem of member players not replacing divits, fixing pitchmarks and using a rake to level sand when coming out of a bunker. This can be frustrating during play. Several of the bunkers could do with more sand. An obvious lack of knowledge of the rules has players spending too long looking for lost ball hence the mark for slow play. Could maybe do with a 'ranger' on the course to keep things moving and players to be on the tee box at the scheduled time.with more sand
