What the club says: The Highgate and Lodge courses have nine holes of majestic woodland and nine holes of picturesque heathland and are frequently used to host P.G.A. E.G.U. and County events. We are proud to host the Midland Regional Open qualifying round from 2007 to 2011.

The club now has two eighteen hole courses; Highgate, with a standard scratch of 73 and the lodge, with 71. Both Courses test the golfer to the limit, combining a mixture of heathland surrounded with testing tree lined fairways.

Enville is a venue for many top professional and amateur tournaments including British Open Qualifying. The large membership with a considerable waiting list and numerous Society visitors indicates that the club is one of the most popular in the West Midlands.

Had a lovely 2 days playing both courses, It's the first time I have played the Lodge course which was great. Having played the Highgate before it yet again proved faultless however the Lodge was in my opinion equally enjoyable with arguably some stronger holes. Greens equally good on both as true as you will find. Food was good and the beer !

Beautiful

"IF i lived closer" I would definitely be a member, this place is class and from a heathland Surrey Ambassador that takes a lot. Bargain golf a a two day rate crazy cheap it would be 4 times that back at home they are missing a trick, if you get to play you wont be disappointed, I actually preferred the Lodge course although it was close.

Enville Golf Club is a fantastic golf venue - both Highgate & Lodge courses provide an enjoyable golfing experience which could be embellished by making use of the extensive practice facilities before your round. Afterwards, enjoy yourself in the spike bar in a relaxing atmosphere. Great value for money, an incredibly well-stocked Pro Shop, obliging staff and by far and away the best greens I have putted on all year.

Immaculate

If you are anywhere near this course. You have to do yourself the pleasure of playing this immaculate golf course. The greens are some of the best I?ve ever seen. The ground staff are extremely talented and the claim the course is never closed was demonstrated this week as I was convinced the course would survive the rain. I was wrong. Fantastic.

Absolute Gem

Played with a group of friends from Shropshire, first time for me but the others had played here before. What a track and apparently the other course is just as good. Some stunning holes and in great condition. We got a really good deal and cheaper then many of the other venues we have been at lately. 6th Hole is a monster !

Great Condition course fully open ????????

Given the recent wet weather the course was in as good a condition as you?ll find for the time of year anywhere. All greens and bunkers in play. Only mats in use were on the Par 3?s which is totally understandable. Getting plenty of run on the fairways. All in all a great mornings golf on a course that?s a joy to play on no matter what time of year or what weather.

Best Winter Course I've Played

Played with our club pro in the recent Staffs PGA Allience, loved every minute of it... Played the Highgate Course, some beautiful holes, bone dry and greens in the word of our pro were "Pure". Great spike bar and a lovely atmosphere and not to far off the motorway - a must visit

Great Condition

Not played Enville in 5 years, it was always a treat but its just gone to another level, yes even in November! Greens better then i remembered and tees like carpets. The Lodge was a joy to play with so many contrasting holes. The spike bar is a new addition to the clubhouse, a well stocked shop if a little expensive.

Great Course

Love this course, November golf at its best, greens worth the green fee alone the blend of Heath and wooded holes keep it interesting all the way round both courses. Fairways taken a beating in the summer but what golf course hasn’t. Tees like carpets and ale like velvet !!

Definitely not your average....

Played both courses during the heatwave a few months ago. Having played a large number of Surrey sandbelt heathland courses, Enville easily sits comfortably amongst other more lauded venues such as Sunningdale, Walton Heath and St. Georges Hill.

With 36-holes on offer, each 18 an equal balance of heathland and woodland, testing greens and the most comprehensive practice facilities I have seen there is enough to easily warrant a two day excursion.

Off course, the clubhouse and staff are welcoming, with a lovely oak spike bar and courtyard for al fresco dining and post game drinks. The Pro-shop is a real Aladdin's cave with a huge range of equipment on offer.

The fact that you can get all this for a fraction of what you would pay to play the 'upper echelon' Surrey courses makes it a no-brainer for those who want top-class, great value golf.

If you are looking for a Midlands Course then there can be no better than Enville. It has two magnificent courses to chose from, either heathland or woodland both with outstanding greens. The practice facilities and second to non with an all grass practice range and three practice holes. It is further complimented by the excellent club house facilities and warm welcome by the members. Played the Lodge as work was being done on the other course. What a track some stunning and contrasting holes playing through the Heath and then several played like Woburn through tall pines. Great condition with super fast greens a pleasure to play, the other course is even better apparently?
