What the club says: Entry Hill golf course only opened in 1984, and as it celebrates its twentieth birthday this year, the public pay and play course remains in as good a condition now as it did back when it first revealed itself to golf fans in Somerset two decades ago.
It is quite a short course, offering only nine-holes, but there are alternate tees so that it can be played as an eighteen-hole and consequently keep discerning golfers happy. It should not be underestimated because it is a municipal course either, as it features a significant number of hazards for you to overcome. And for stunning views of Bath town centre, you can do far, far worse than this little corker

When I first read about it I thought it would be an easy way around, how wrong, the first tee is up a steep slope and many of the holes are dog legs or not in sight of the tee's. Tricky bunkers surround more than half the holes and combine that with narrow fairways with tree's either side it is harder than you first think.
I finished under 100 so I am happy as my front night was 56.
Good Value for money, friendly lad in the pro shop, other golfers were chatty and wanted to know how you were doing, all levels were taking part, I may consider becoming a member as I've been told it's around £47

The club house is minimal, however, you can get a decent cuppa and a sandwich. There is a bit of a pro-shop but don't go expecting to try out a range of clubs, it's not big enough to have more than a few balls / markers / tees / shoes etc.
