What the club says: Elfordleigh Golf Club is an extremely scenic undulating parkland layout lying seven miles from the centre of Plymouth. Presenting a challenge to the seasoned golfer and the novice, the course provides as good a test as any in the area.

Winter Golf

Tricky wooded course with 6 par 3?s to bump your points up. Some tee positions are very unhelpful and you'll need to draw the ball or hit a tree.Reviewer Rating

Testing course
Enjoyable course involving 6 par 3?s to get the points you'll lose on the difficult holes. Tight in places with water in play on some holes. Good clubhouse afterwards.Reviewer Rating

Great difficult tight course. The Tee boxes are the only let down. Not flat and very narrow depending on where the green keeper decides to place the markers each day.Reviewer Rating

Pleasant track
I played here for the first time a few weeks ago and felt it was a bit of an undiscovered gem. It's quite short, and play can sometimes be a bit slow, but it's interesting and you need to think your way round. The 3 par-3s in a row are a bit odd, but all very different. Nice course, although the greens were quite slow. The one thing i would say lets the course down is the 3 par 3's in a row on the back 9, it clogs groups up and slows the course down. Some challenging holes, and nice scenery.

Really nice views
The course is a testing course with lots of scenary. Simon is helpful in the pro shop. Bar could do with a bell to notify staff when people are queuing and no one is around(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 108 Handicap: 35.1)

The course was in exceptional condition when we played.

Very quiet and enjoyable round
Greens were a bit slow and have suffered from a lot of ball plugging i reckon as there were a lot of pit marks around. Apart from that the course is in great shape ready for the summer.Reviewer Rating

Hilly but worth a visit
We played 3 rounds recently, the corse was in good condition, although the greens were very slow and wooly. Given the weather we have had we did understand the reason for the greens. Good accomodation, very nice food and excellent staff.Reviewer Rating
