One of the cheapest places to play, of which reflects on the course and facilities. Unfortunately the kids and dog walkers don't help either.

Course was very wet and bunkers were flooded . fairway grass was a bit long ..nice friendly clubhouse.nice bacon sandwich

Course was in excellent condition and we virtually had the place to ourselves on a Monday afternoon. Will be back to try it again.

Course was in good condition. Rained half way round but course held up. Greens quite slow, maybe need one more cut

Four of us visited to play in an open competition, none of us had played the course before, we just like playing different places. We got a very warm welcome from members and the people organising the day, who are obviously very proud of there club since the members took over the running of it in about 2012. The food before and after our round was excellent, and also excellent value for money. The course itself is a fantastic layout with some tricky and long holes and has some lovely par threes as well. The greens are slower than we were used to but they ran true. The course was tidy considering the amount of staff they have to do all the work. If you are visiting the area or are from the area please support this club you will not be dissapointed. There are courses that we play that we wont go back to, but this certainly is not one of them.

Great course front nine settles you in nice and easy. ready for the 7th and 9th which are testing holes to say the least,back nine harder but the smart player will be fine! play the percentages,
Layout is top class,I've played houghton and seaham,and while hetton le hill ie (Elmore) might be lacking in the finished polished article like houghton and seaham,Elmore has true gritt

Played in February 2016.Nice course.Greens excellent for time of year.Thoroughly enjoyed game all 3 of us.Course overall in pretty good condition too.Cant believe some of the bad earlier write ups.We will be back.

Taken over was going in the right direction but isn't now members leaving , raves in club house damage saw club captain hoovering up for captains day , what a waste of a good club golfers gone respect gone , goodbye elemore golf club , it will close

A good variety of hole types. Par 3 water hole is a scary little teaser, too far and you're off the back - too short and...plop! Wide open views throughout the course. I would recommend giving it a go, I don't doubt you'll be back. criticism of the condition is fair, although if you stay on the fairways (if only) you'll thoroughly enjoy this course!

Friendly course and great value for money. Could do with some TLC and too many member of the public walking around the course with dogs for my liking but good beginner course.

First ever time playing here, great course for learners like me. Good wide fairways,some nice water holes and in good condition considering the bad weather we have been having. And at just £10 for a round after 3pm its a bargain too.

the fairways and greens needed a really good cut, although the lady behind the bar told me the weather had been poor for the last 2 weeks and standing water confirmed this, but still the greems were so long and so slow that it took the enjoyment from the round. I would recommend and would play again in the summer.

a surprisingly great little course with some challenging water hazards.Fantasic value .Played this 3 times and being a beginner it was a brilliant course to cut your teeth on.Buggy hire also cheap.A definate for revisiting.Only small minus was they had spiked and dressed the greens which spoilt the putting maybe could have left it till later in the year but besides that small gripe a great little course.

With care and attention this course could be a real gem. There are some really interesting holes and at no point do you feel like your going up and down a field. The 'however comes with the condition of the course. The greens are scuffy, with comical 3foot high flag and alternative pin positions left open. I didn't see a rake in any of the bunkers. And would could potentially be very pretty water holes, spoilt by rubbish being dumped in the ponds.
Give this place a few quid, a good pro and an experienced greenkeeper it'll be a cracker, as it is though I wont be back in a hurry.

greens had not been cut so very difficult to read. no rakes in bunkers and very poor sand but take away these negatives and the course is superb. signature hole has got to be the par 3 12th only 104yds onto a green jutting into the water rest of the course has excellent holes and wide fairways

For the price paid, it really is good value. £10 after 2pm during week.
Course is ok, if a bit water logged on back 9. (about 5 holes where the hole had water in it!!)
Complete lack of signage anywhere made it bit more difficult to navigate, plus there is the local potential hazard of kids stealing your golf ball!!

For £14 including trolley hire on a Sunday morning you can't go wrong. The course is obviously not the best you'll play, but is better than some I've played at twice the price. A bit muddy today, but again I've played courses that have been worse.

Played course today all greens were still in use winter tees fairways were very wet and muddy wellies instead of shoes were needed could not complain at price £12.00

it was cheep as chips but prices have gone up now. water is a problem on some holes if it has had heavy rain the nigth before, a good course with some nice holes let down by kids on some of the course and ball bloke on the back 9 (lol)
