We are staying at the hotel and
Much to our annoyance the golf is not open and hasn’t been for a long time, it is in crap condition and should not be advertised as such

Abandoned?

Played this course as it local, wont bother returning. Fairways in places as long as the rough. Greens seemingly abandoned to weeds and rabbit holes, take your pic of the nearest hole and knock it in. Large pile of what seems like fly tipped waste next to the tee on one hole. Drive a little further and play Broome Manor for the same price.

Chris

Played this course today for the first time as wanted a quick afternoon round to get some practice in. The course is in a very sorry state. The greens are dreadful, poorly maintained covered in ruts and holes and bone dry with scorched earth. The fairways are near non-existent with very long grass. It was only £10 but I would suggest giving it a miss

Dreadful state - crazy golf

The greens have been totally lost through lack of water in the 2018 drought and all 9 are on temporaries. The course was never well manicured but attempting to play it now is only for those who like crazy golf.

who on earth has the nerve to score this course 5 out of 5, it is a shameful disgrace, we played it today and after 2 holes felt like asking for a refund, the greens are disgraceful beyond all imagination and the fairways are pitiful just do not waste time and money here

avoid at all costs

The experience we had playing the course was the saddest ive ever encountered , the fairways were left with long grass all over the place and the greens were a case of choosing whether to aim for the rabbit holes or hole with the flag in it, don't be tempted to try it just awful

Beautiful views, lovely course

This course is one which gives you beautiful views of the surrounding countryside whilst you play and its a great looking course too. A 9 hole course which when you drive in you see straight away thanks to the drink between two holes. There isn't a par 5 however there is a few big par 4s and some which some golfers will definitely be able to drive. The greens and course itself are very well looked after and it provides a challenge for experienced golfers whilst making it fun for beginners too. The 5th hole is a green which is hidden from view from the tee however you can see the top of the flag, but once you get closer you'll realise that the green is actually elevated and the ground around it dropped quite drastically, this hole is great. The 6th tee is then behind this green high up too hitting down to a nice par 3 green. I'd recommend this to many golfers, especially beginners who want a quiet course to learn the game.
