What The Club Says
Corby Golf Course was opened in 1967 by Tony Jacklin. It was designed by Fred Hawtree, one of Britain's finest golf course architects. Corby Golf Course is open to all as a pay-and-play course or our season tickets offer exceptional value.
The 18 Hole Course is 6,677 yards long off the back tee, with a par of 72. The fairways are wide, with generous light-rough margins. But there are also water hazards, mature trees, areas of thick rough and 58 sand bunkers - all ingeniously sited and shaped within Hawtree's challenging design.

Nice pay & play
A very nice pay and play public course owed by the local council I think. The layout is fun and interesting. The tees, fairways, bunkers and greens are well maintained even up to a private course standard. Decent clubhouse and shop, great catering and friendly staff. A value for money venue and one worth the visit. My only very slight comment would be to roll the greens and a final trim of the surface then it would be the perfect place to learn the game and enjoy a day.Reviewer Rating

Winter is coming
Always a pleasure to play at Priors !. Playing off the mats but to preserve for the spring a wise move. The investment lately is good to see . From drainage, good bunkers and greens!. Nice surroundings full of hilly but not excessive so good local knowledge of ball placement required. Slow play but I was a one ball to be expected.Reviewer Rating

Underrated
Having read previous reviews and playing here in the past I wasn't expecting the course to be up to much. But I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. If the tea boxes had the same Care as the greens, I would've scored it higher. Some people had said That the bunkers were mainly GUR, I found them to have sand in them enough to qualify as bunker sand but not so much as you would consider a normal bonkers on other courses (this is probably where council budgets coming to play) if they could guarantee Those conditions, getting the greens to be more consistent, somewhere fast somewhere slow somewhere wet somewhere dry. Again it would've scored a lot higher for its location and playability every hole as you're thinking about something not your normal up-and-down golf courses. This really is an absolute peach of a course.Reviewer Rating
