What the club says: We were established in 1887, our course is the only true links course in Yorkshire and we are also one of the oldest courses in the county. The course offers easy walking and is a fair challenge to players of all abilities.

Good condition links course
Rated in the top 100 England courses under £60pr, However having read through the list I would put a number of courses ahead of it. That said it is well maintained particularly the greens that were excellent. Quite a bit of GUR. Incredibly windy day that made playing challenging. Some very narrow fairways and as per usual on a links course off fairway was punative.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 95 Handicap: 15.2)

Fantastic links course.
Cleveland is a fantastic course and a great test of anyone’s game. Rough is penal if you stray too far wide. Areas between fairways when off line at least offered the opportunity to find your ball. Greens excellent ran fast and true. Very friendly members and staff especially Craig House manager and Ian one of the greens staff.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 83 Handicap: 13.9)

Greens in pristine condition
Played winter tees at Cleveland golf course today and the course was in good condition. Quite a bit of G.I.R. but great to see all areas of the course been addressed ahead of the winter months. The greens were absolutely pristine and a great place to play golf all year round.Reviewer Rating

Cleveland Golf club never disappoints, value for money it challenges any course in the uk. This club is thriving, always open, always busy and in really good condition. Not many clubs have a membership waiting list, Cleveland does. Professional shop is well stocked, with all major brands at fantastic prices. Driving range with a super fitting bay. Very friendly and welcoming golf club I live 80 mile away and try to play the course 3 or 4 times a year Good greens and fairways but if you hit a bad shot you will pay the price a true test of golf.
