Course
Considering nits a council run course and winter conditions the course is actually very good standard. The greens are good and so are fairways. And most of all always polite in the club house. Some better courses in the area you just can't play due to members privileges or clubs restrictions to pay and play players but Canvey if you book up in advance you can get an early teetimes and be able to finish a round before it gets to dark.Reviewer Rating

Tricky Course
Not a bad course. Suffers from some vandals riding motor bikes on some of the greens. The green keepers do a great job to repair all this and keep the course in good order, well done.I like the overall set up and how the course is laid out. Lacking a good selection of food and drink. Driving range needs to be tided up a bit. we had a good day out.

Played here in April time and the course was not in great condition, but played 3 times in the last 2 weeks and there are some remarkable changes. Fairways are in excellent condition. Greens are getting there, although still some have more weeds the others. Absolute great value for money though.Reviewer Rating

Dont bother
On the plus side the layout is reasonable and staff friendly. There's a reason its cheep. Greens in poor condition and fairways not great.
Bunkers have little sand and cabbages growing out of them.
Spend the extra tenner and play Langdon Hills

Played it a few times lately and yesterday was a breezy sunny challenge as its a links course with twists and turns. However the rough is too long for the general golfer as on a dry day the bounces can take the ball into the rough and makes it difficult to find slowing up play!..also the greens need a bit more attention (just like Belfairs) & and some sand in bunkers would be good too!!!? but overall on a i enjoyed it.Reviewer Rating
