What the club says: The 18 hole Main Course with a par of 73 and measuring 6685 yards. As well as the 18 hole golf course, there's an interesting 18 hole par three course which demands the use of a range of clubs. The golf course is configured as two loops of nine holes eminating from the clubhouse and is inviting with views from the first tee over much of the opening nine holes which is set on undulating land.

Booking online saved me 33% of green fees which I would say is a fair price, my personal feeling is there are better courses in the area for ?35 18 hole green fees.

First time playing in reasonable conditions. I am biased because I do enjoy this course. Interesting holes.Front 9 nice warm up for what I feel is the more difficult back 9. Staff always friendly both greens staff and pro's. I stay in caravans locally and on coast and the course is easily accessible.

Main course
Been playing this course the past 10 years but haven’t been in the past 2 years until recently , and to say I was shocked and upset was an understatement ,Firstly I understand we are currently in a drought but honestly it looks like the green keepers have packed there bags and left months ago !!
Greens are shocking
Tee boxes are like dust /sand
Fairways are Full of rabbit holes
Bunkers are either filled in or ground under repair as no one can be added to maintain them ,
Walk ways are untouched for months /years
Such a shame as it’s a cracking course with some testing holes but the current condition it just looks like there hasn’t been anyone there for the past year ! Like I said I understand the drought so dry fairways I get it but honestly sort it out Caldecott or just shut the doors !! !! !!

Nice Venue
Thoroughly enjoyed playing here. The course has a lovely picturesque layout helped by the glorious weather on the day we played. The greens certainly need work and this might more of a gripe to some players. The clubhouse is imposing and the food was excellent.Reviewer Rating

A lot of work needs to be done to get this course in a good state. Greens not bad but some fairways have so many animal holes in them you could twist your ankle!Reviewer Rating

Good for Iron Practice
Interesting Par 3 Course with a huge variety of holes from 74-207 Yards, with small well guarded greens. Good fun and especially useful for working on your Irons and Short Game.Very dry, small greens meaning it,s very hard to land on the green, but great practice for up and downs. Good value at £10 for 18 holes

Par 3 greens disusting
Just played par 3, no mention in pro shop about the terrible state of the greens. Had I been given the chance to look at a few before paying would have either opted to play main course or went somewhere else. Went back into pro shop after different guy behind counter admitted greens had been a problem and needed work but still took our money without any kind of refund saying the manager had gone and he only works weekends? Even if they offered some discount you could not attempt to play any descent shot with your putter or try to chip onto greens.Reviewer Rating
