What the club says: A par 70 for men and 73 for ladies, the course lies on porous limestone, the golf course has excellent natural drainage, meaning that it remains in good condition all year round.
The indigenous tree species provide a particular golfing challenge even on the shorter holes, where accuracy is all important. The greens are always quick and true, and have a reputation for being some of the best in the area.
Most Helpful Review
Interesting course with lot of testing holes made even harder by the low trees that sprawl among this course. Greens are improving well after the winter and the course is well worth a round.

Golf Course Reviews for Burghley Park Golf Club
Well maintained and very helpful. All facilities available.
(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 100 Handicap: 24.3)
First played here in the early 00s and returned here in mid Aug 2017, the course really has matured really well. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition, the trees have grown and the many hazards makes for a good challenge without being too punishing. Well worth a visit and a nice change from the many bland courses that are around this area.
(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 13.7)
The staff were very helpful and friendly with good facilities. Absolutely loved the course, and a good challenge to! The bunkers and water features were a real feature.
The club house is good with excellent food and drink at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit!
