What The Club Says
A par 70 for men and 73 for ladies, the course lies on porous limestone, the golf course has excellent natural drainage, meaning that it remains in good condition all year round.
The indigenous tree species provide a particular golfing challenge even on the shorter holes, where accuracy is all important. The greens are always quick and true, and have a reputation for being some of the best in the area.

Cracking course - well maintained and decent layout.
This is in a lovely setting in the outskirts of Stamford. The weather had been hot but the course remained in excellent condition. Much of the rough had been cut back, making the course reasonably forgiving but still with sufficient trees to catch out wayward driving. It felt long, particularly on the back nine but was great fun to play.Reviewer Rating

Burghley park
First time playing this course even though it’s on my doorstep, really nice parkland course, will definitely be back(Round played: Jul 2021 - Score: 97 Handicap: 23.7)
