OK - bit of an up and down course, too many similar holes. Weather did not help so willing to give it another go.

Shame
Course was much better a few years ago have taken out 3 of the ponds cut most of the rough and greens nowhere as good as they used to be.Reviewer Rating

Cracking course - well maintained and decent layout.
This is in a lovely setting in the outskirts of Stamford. The weather had been hot but the course remained in excellent condition. Much of the rough had been cut back, making the course reasonably forgiving but still with sufficient trees to catch out wayward driving. It felt long, particularly on the back nine but was great fun to play.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course in Lovely Setting
Lovely society course played on our way back from Belton Woods. We were greeted well and greens were excellent. Food good and very friendly staff(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 17.3)

Very flat course and slightly too much up and down for my liking. The greens were in fantastic condition and putts ran true so I would recommend them.

A good course with enough variety for the average player. Impressed by the greens, very true and consistent. A warm welcome at the clubhouse and good facilities too. However, on the practice ground before hand, I was hitting balls from about 2 foot behind the marker posts - off a tee too, so no harm was being done. Was given a good telling off by some old fuddy duddy. This is one of the reasons for the decline in golf, youngsters don\'t want pay good money to put up with this nonsense anymore.

Played this course many time now, it's beginning to look better with the green and fairways a little bare in places. Overall good course with some challenging holes.

Variety of good holes / challenging course. SI is a little confusing especially the par 3's - how this was devised is beyond me. generally well kept, tee boxes a bit shabby. Pro - v.good, members seemed a bit stand offish.

Well worth a visit

Nice course would visit again
