Unfortunately the course had suffered an immense amount of rain and was waterlogged all over. Balls plugging and ending up in large puddles.

Course in excellent condition & dry, greens just been hollowtined & so bobbly could have been rolled for a better finish overall very good.

I suppose you get what you pay for and i should have managed my expectations. I last played this course late in 2015 and enjoyed it but it has gone downhill quite a bit. It all just looked a bit tired and unloved, A cheap round but i will spend a little more and go elsewhere in the future.

Easy access from the A57, secure parking, helpful staff, a new purpose built club-house and a well kept course with a good variety of holes makes Boysnope a very good venue for golf.

Long time since I played here (driving range outside now demolished) and pleased to say that good work has been done, the course has matured and been improved enormously. Drainage improved massively, some greens seem to have been made larger and some trees/bushes taken out to make the fairways wider - presumably to help the pace of play. The greens were cut closely and were very firm as well as the approaches - unfortunately with the very strong wind on the day this made them extremely hard to hold and largely fast - though good. Definitely a big improvement for playing and friendly clubhouse with good food drink . Some tricky interesting holes and a good test for all. My colleague commented that it was unusual to have par 5's that were SI 2 3 - he found out why! (Round played: Aug 2016 - Score: 104 - due to 4 bad holes, my fault in the conditions not the course.. Handicap: 24.1)
