Finding the clubhouse was difficult so make sure you get directions when booking. Having found the clubhouse the experience was very good. The course is 6,250 yards but doesn't play long at all. There are several par fours where you should be playing a short iron for your second shot. Most holes were tree lined but each fairway was wide enough to give you a real chance. Whilst there isn't much trouble it is worth buying a course planner, after all, midweek, you've only paid £16 to play. The real treat on this course is the greens, they are wonderful, most were fairly level, firm and beautifully maintained. The whole course was in good condition and suited an 18 handicapper. The course may not be too testing for a low handicapper but I certainly enjoyed it and will play it again.

The good things about this course are the greens, which were in excellent condition when I played them. Hitting them and getting the ball to stop was something else, but they ran very true. The tees & very forgiving fairways were likewise in pretty decent condition.
The negatives are the clubhouse is fairly basic, and the range has recently been closed. Also, I don't really remember a lot of stand out holes. None of this should stop you from playing here though, as a round here is really good value for money and the course is still going to test you.

This course is a flat parkland course with wide fairways. There are plenty of trees along most fairways.
The weather was very wet however the greens handled the downpour very well draining quickly.

Wide, long and a bit boring. Very forgiving for beginners like myself. Course was in good nick considering the recent weather and overall, not bad for the price.

Nice course, not too much of a thinkers course with generous fairways allowing the driver to be taken without much punishment for not being straight. Nice greens and always well maintained. Club house and its staff are friendly as are the patrons. I would play again without hesitation.

Good test for mid handicapper, some long difficult holes. drainage is very good and greens very responsive.
