What the club says: Bird Hills is set in Berkshire's picturesque countryside with open fairways, plenty of water hazards and well placed bunkers. The par 72 course is carefully designed to provide an enjoyable round of golf for every level of golfer.
The main clubhouse has a well stocked shop (American Golf) and a fantastic resturant and bar providing you with meals and bar snacks at all times.

Most Helpful Review
Good course however I was abused by a green keeper for hitting a poor shot because it meant longer for him to wait even though he called me through. The green staff seem to want no golfers and are very rude and abrupt. - Aug 1 2013

Golf Course Reviews for Bird Hills Golf Club
A very good venue for society golf. Great price and good food. Course is at last good enough for a great game of golf.
(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 92 Handicap: 16.7)
Very windy but bright day ball had a lot of carry greens were in a good condition fairways just being cut the rough was very unforgiving
(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 101 Handicap: 19.7)
I stopped playing this course a year ago because of the ruidiculous length of the rough just a yard off the fairway. They seemed to have rectified the problem but today it was back to the old issue. The first cut, when there was one, was 2" - 3" long and beyond that was over 6". The 18th fairway looked more like rough waith patches where the grass was over 4" long. Spent as much time looking for balls as playing golf. Our group consisted of decent players with handicaps of 12 and 15 and even they were dismayed. This wasn't enjoyable and I won't be returning. Shame as it's a good looking course.
