What the club says: Hidden among the towering canopy of Staffordshire's Cannock Forest, this Herbert Fowler classic stands proudly alongside his other English master-pieces - Saunton, Walton Heath and The Berkshire to name but a few. The beauty of Beau Desert is hard to describe as, with only the occasional passing Stag as a critic of your ability to master the rolling fairways and testing greens, you will enjoy both a sense of isolation and peacefulness here allowing you to focus on your game and enjoy your visit to the full.

Golf Course Reviews for Beau Desert Golf Club
Enjoyed my day even tho, the games well my driver, woods is shocking off 6. my rating is based on how expensive to play the course as a none member and how memorable the holes are.
my best holes 4th easily messed up, the 9th risk or reward 10th great little par 3, 15th par 5 hit it straight :-) and 18th !!! course in oustanding condition considering 5 week drought 2018. nice club house and towels for that nice after touch shower.
200yrd range and short game area. word of warning take extra water no halfway house or fountain to be found.
This is an amazing golf club. Very professional and friendly from the pro shop to the bar. I would highly recommend this course. Even after heavy rain it was in immaculate condition. It is a brute of a course anywhere off the fairway consider your ball lost
Having had my Golfshake handicap refused I was told I could not compete in the competition with the rest of my 4 ball partners. Not the best start to the day and something I will take up with Golfshake directly. The course itself to my mind is quite tough on some holes getting to the greens where you almost play a second game as the holes themselves are the major defence, the group felt. I am 15 hc and my partners are better players than myself and they said some of the greens were unfair. That said the course was enjoyable to play and a good test of golf. If you have a trolley it is a longer walk given all of the restrictions of where to go. Prepare to be frustrated and rewarded in equal measure.

Beautiful course and surroundings. Course difficult to play in windy conditions.

Probably one of the most picturesque courses I have played alongside a few down near Bournemouth. The course was in immaculate condition for late in October. A tricky course if like me it is you first time, there a a few blind tee shots and second shots to contend with. The fairways were like most fringes of many courses greens. The greens were cut tight and were fast with plenty of borrows. Clubhouse facilities were very good, food well worth trying and very welcoming of visitors.
