What The Club Says
The Course is an 18 hole, par 72 parkland course and whilst first impressions may give rise to the belief that this is a rather benign course, play reveals a very challenging 6738 yards off the White tees. There are forward tees with the Yellow Course measuring 6443 yards.
The holes offer a great deal of variety. There are 4 very challenging par 5’s to test the golfers long game and concludes with our signature par 3 18th hole which includes a particularly intimidating water hazard, out-of-bounds to the right and a small elevated green. Not a lot for a golfer to aim for but enough to break your round at the very death. All this within full view of fellow golfers enjoying a relaxing time in The Clubhouse!

Lovely looking course with 5 par 5s
Lovely looking course in the Cannock Chase area - formerly Penkridge Golf Course. Fairly flat so not too taxing but, boy, there are some really long holes on here with 5 par 5s, can you believe it? Even some of the par 4s are long, but still it's a lovely course to play. Very exhausting for the older ones amongst us. Get a buggy if you can....Reviewer Rating

Firm greens
Lovely to play a course in this region due to recent weather pattern that had fairways expected for this time of year however greens not receptive at all felt good approach shots were often punished continually rolling through greens even on towering wedgesReviewer Rating

Very wide fairways
First time here and first impressions were good. Wide open spaces, so very forgiving with wayward shots. Quite a flat course that is fairly long at almost 6500 yards off the yellows. Fairways and greens were in good condition although the greens were quite quick. Well marked out so easy to find the next tees. Busy course with 8 minutes between tee times so any slow play could cause a back up. Playing there again soon on a society day. Definitely worth a try.Reviewer Rating

Great forgiving course in excellent condition, dry's out well. Nice wide fairways, rough is cut well, you'd be unlucky if you lost a ball here.Reviewer Rating

Links Style Summer
The Chase gets the look and feel of a links track in the summer. Firm fairways and smooth greens. Lovely track that I really enjoy playing. Pro staff team are awesome. Only downside to the venue is the driving range. In desperate need of investment.Reviewer Rating
