Fairways quite parched and bare but greens in good condition. Lack of practice facilities an issue. Clubhouse is nice and staff very friendly , but would prefer more challenging layout - scored 76 - handicap 11

Played the course a couple of years ago and got the impression they did not really want visitors there but were happy to take your money all the same.This may of changed since then.....The course was is good condition and tricky but it all felt a bit tight due to the space available for a 18 golf course....

Course was very dry due to severe lack of rain. Greens were fast but course in good condition. A couple of holes cross over each other but that's fine. Quite a lot of trees so keep it straight! Welcome in pro-shop was very good.

Played this course with my uncle Who was a member years ago.
The course is very flat and not very remarkable to greens were good and the bunkers not bad considering it was winter time. The fairways were good and it did not drain to badly but over all not very inspiring the traffic noise was a little loud too.
The clubhouse was ok but did not find it very friendly. Not worth £40 but if they operate 2 for 1 it would be worth a visit.

fairways like carpets, excellent greens and well sanded and raked bunkers. flat tees. average practice facilities. lots of trees, rough not too onerous and no water. wide fairways. not too long either. flat with no hills. no bunkers on several holes. not as easy as it sounds

Will definitely be back
First time playing Ashford Manor and very impressed with the quality of the course. The best fairways I've played anywhere for years and greens very good too. Very attractive presentation all round and some interesting holes with a number of straightforward ones too. Was welcoming and friendly to visitors but a tip if you visit here is to make sure you get the code for gate to exit the car park. We played twilight for ?35 which is great value I think for such a well presented course. Just a shame I played so badly really. We'll be back at twilight rates for sure.Reviewer Rating

Great conditioned track
First time playing here, lovely course, very flat, some tight challenging holes but also some forgiving holes too. Condition was fantastic, green keepers have done a great job there!(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 16.1)

Challenging local course
Have played this course twice now as it is local. It is a fairly challenging course - you have to keep it out of trouble to score well. The par 4's are tough especially when there's a bit of wind. The greens and bunkers are in excellent condition. Pace of play is good.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 83 Handicap: 14.7)

Unusual to see on Tee Off times
This is predominately a members course although it appeared on TeeOff times so decided to play here. It is a challenging course although if you are on your game you can score well as both of the par 5's are reachable in 2 although some very tough par 4's which always appear to play into the wind! The course was in great condition (as it always is) and the pace of play was excellent. They have their roll ups on Sunday which finish around 9;30 and providing you give them sufficient time to play then the round shouldn't take longer than 3.5 hours for a two ball. Well worth a visit if you haven't played here before.Reviewer Rating

Bunkers excellent, loads of sand, hit through the ball with high hands with confidence. Greens look very quick but not that pacy, a fair challenge.
