What the club says: The recently improved 2788 yard course is set in 70 acres of mature tree-lined parkland with a water feature which comes into play on the second and third holes. It is undoubtedly one of the finest nine-hole courses in the region and is an enjoyable test for players of all levels from beginners to low-handicappers.

I played 9 holes at David Lloyd Hampton for the first time today. Looking at the card you'd guess that the holes might be fairly easy, but while the holes might be short, the fairways can get a little tight and the greens are fairly small. Also, if you find yourself in any of the trees then the ball isn't always going to be found.
The course was in decent condition, and the tees and greens were certainly playable. I'd certainly play there again.

Good for high handicappers
Was trying to get a cheeky round in before the rugby, and this course suited. As someone who\'s just getting back into golf, I appreciated the fairly forgiving nature of the course layout, with just enough challenges around the greens. Fairways were a bit dry but not patchy. Greens were fine.
Although the course seems to suffer a bit from being an add-on to the health club, the health club staff were very helpful. As I was finishing the 9th, a large group of about four 4-balls was starting from 1. I knew I would be hard pressed to finish another nine holes in reasonable time, and the accommodating staff offered me a rain-check for another nine holes.

Its cheap and thats it
Cheap, poor greens. fairways dried out but you get what you pay for. if you pay £10 for 9 holes you cant expect a great course

Forgiving and reasonably attractive, flat course. A tricky par 3 and two par 5s.
