Northamptonshire Club Makes it Free and Easy to Get into Golf
Northants County golf club is making it free and easy to get into golf!
The club – which can be found in Golf Lane, Church Brampton, near Northampton – is offering three steps into the sport as part of National Golf Month.
The club’s PGA professional Mark Norton is running a three-week beginners course of lessons for would-be golfers of all ages.
Week one covers the short game, week two the long game while the final session includes practical experience out on the course.
It is free to take part and all equipment is provided.
Starting dates for adults include Tuesday May 20 and May 27 (5.30pm-6.30pm) with junior courses starting on Thursday May 22 and May 29 (4pm-5pm).
National Golf Month is a major campaign to offer beginners and 100,000 lapsed golfers opportunities to try the game. It’s being driven by the Bauer Media Group and the British Golf Industry Association (BGIA) and is supported by England Golf through the Get into golf campaign, which is run by the national network of County Golf Partnerships.
Full details about activities in Northamptonshire, as well as all the other opportunities across England, are available on the Get into golf website www.getintogolf.org/map
