Sports Impact to Represent World of Golf

By: Golf Shake | Wed 08 Oct 2014

Sports Impact, the independent sports marketing agency, has been appointed by World of Golf to promote Europe’s busiest driving range at New Malden, south-west London, where more than 15 million balls are hit every year.

The agency appointment coincides with the culmination of a major £750,000 investment at World of Golf’s flagship centre to provide golfers with world-class game improvement facilities. This includes a state-of-the-art Performance Centre featuring the latest Swing Catalyst and smartphone Protracer Game technology devices that offer golfers instant technical data and the ability to compare shots with others on the range.

The New Malden centre has eight highly-qualified PGA professionals and provides more than 3,000 lessons for beginners and juniors each year.

“Sports Impact has the media track record we were looking for, as well as a strong group of market-leading clients,” said Chief Executive, Grant Wright. “Having become known as a great place to start playing golf, we now want to attract better players to our new Performance Centre where they can analyse and fine tune their game with the help of top coaches all year round.”

“We’re thrilled to be representing the No.1 golf range in Europe and look forward to telling the story of the impressive new facility and its many game-enhancing technologies,” said John Collard, CEO at Sports Impact.
