Speed test Nike Golf's new VR_S range & Win a Chance to Play With Charl Schwartzel

Nike Golf has shaped the new face of speed following the recent launch of its award-winning range of VR_S woods and irons. These ultra fast, distance-generating clubs combine make up Nike Golf’s fastest ever family of clubs. The VR_S family is an extension of Nike Golf’s Tour-proven VR franchise, which, since its 2008 introduction, has been the weapon of choice for more than 85 worldwide Tour wins, including three major titles.  

To underline the superior performance capabilities of the new VR_S family, Nike Golf will be conducting VR_S Speed Trials during April and May at hundreds of participating retail shops and golf courses throughout Europe, including 20 of American Golf’s stores in the UK (April 9-May14), Dormy in Sweden, G6 in Germany and Golf Zone in Austria.  UK green grass accounts will also have access to speed trials from May through to July.

Nike’s VR_S Speed Trials will allow golfers to compare the speed of what’s in their current bag to the new Nike VR_S products on an in-store launch monitor. The accumulative distance from their best shots hit with the driver, fairway wood and hybrid will be recorded, and every golfer will be issued with a ‘Speeding Ticket’ that details the yardage achieved for each club, and the distance gains measured against their old equipment. These results will be displayed on an in-store leaderboard and also on UK & pan European leaderboards that will be featured on www.nikegolf.eu

All entrants in the VR_S Speed Trials will receive a free two-ball pack of Nike Golf’s new Tour-level 20XI ball, and will also be entered into a draw to win an invitation to an exclusive VIP golf day with 2011 US Masters Champion Charl Schwartzel.
