SANDS Charity Golf day

The Seren Roberts Memorial Trophy 2012

After the huge success of the inaugural charity golf fundraising day last year, the decision was made to make the Seren Roberts Memorial Trophy an annual Event, with the aim of making this event one of the biggest charity golf events of the year in South Wales.

The 2012 event will take place at Peterstone Lakes Golf Club, Newport on 29th June 2012.

The SANDS charity are also delighted to announce Kevin Carpenter of KCGolfshow has agreed to come and perform at the event.  Kevin is widely recognised as one of the leading golf trick shot performers in the country.  His golf trick shot show has entertained spectators at European Tour Events, in shows internationally, and most recently he featured on Sky Sports Soccer AM’s “Skills Skool”.  The KC Golf Show’s display of impossible looking shots, comedy, audience participation, and a unique display of hand eye co-ordination has been enjoyed by so many golf fans around the world.

Full details of the event are still to be confirmed, however a rough itinerary is as follows:

• Bacon roll and tea/coffee on arrival from 9:30am
• 18 Holes Golf Tournament (Tee times from 10:00am-2:00pm)
• Golf Trickshot show from Kevin Carpenter from 6:00pm
• 2 Course meal/ award presentation from 7:30pm
• Entertainment follows till late (Details tbc)

For participation at the whole event, prices will be £40 per person or £150 per four ball team.  Non Golfers are welcome to join for the trickshow, meal and evening entertainment at a cost of £20per person.  Other packages available on request.
