Woods

Yonex is introducing the new VMS Driver and Fairway Wood series for ladies, seeking forgiving power off the tee and fairway.

New for 2011 the VMS Driver features Isometric Face Technology for maximum performance across the entire face. This deepening of the face at both the toe and heel enlarges the sweet spot allowing for much more power and forgiveness across the entire hitting surface.

The VMS Driver and Fairway Woods feature the Inner Weight System and V-Slot Technology that helps to position weight deeper in the club, lowering the Centre of Gravity and creating a higher launch angle. This reduces the side spin that causes slicing, and creates optimum back spin for a distance enhancing trajectory.

The matching fairway woods feature an ultra thin Maraging steel face. The thinner face also allows weight to be repositioned around the hitting area to optimise forgiveness whilst the 2-Way Round Sole allows a clean ball strike whatever the lie.

Hybrid

Yonex is introducing the new VMS Hybrid designed and engineered to compliment the VMS iron and provide mid to high handicap players the effortless power and forgiveness these easy to hit clubs provide.

The VMS Hybrid features a thin yet powerful Maraging steel face for extra yards whilst the 2-way round sole allows a clean ball strike whatever the lie. Forgiveness is further enhanced by the progressive off-set through the
range.

The VMS Hybrids are powered by the same lightweight, Hi-Stability Yonex HS700 graphite shaft as the VMS iron featuring a CFS (Centrifugal Force System) technology enabling maximum energy transfer through the ball and a solid feel through the ball strike.

Irons

Yonex is introducing the new VMS iron designed and engineered for mid to high handicap players requiring effortless power and forgiveness.

The Yonex VMS iron features V-Con Core technology situated behind the ultra thin 3mm face. The Elastomer sandwich helps generate maximum power whilst reducing any unwanted vibrations for greater feel.

The VMS iron also features the new Power Weight System. This progressive weighting system repositions weight in the cavity throughout the set for optimum performance. In the long irons (#4 & #5) the weight is positioned towards the heel to reduce the tendency to slice. The Mid-irons #6 &#7 have neutral weighting to enable solid accurate ball striking whilst the short irons #8-SW have weight positioned towards the toe to reduce the tendency to hook the ball.
