Gtour De Vere Invitational

Following on from the first successful major of the season at Slaley Hall, the Gtour are proud to announce the next major event in conjunction with tour sponsor De Vere.

The De Vere invitational at Dunston Hall, Norfolk on Saturday 17 July will provide the players on tour a great test of golf and the opportunity to take part in the second major of the season with some great prizes on offer.

The Gtour is an Amateur Golf Tour takes place throughout UK at courses around the country. The tour is open to anyone that wants to play; all you have to do is register on the website and then choose the events you want to play in.

The tour also runs an Order of Merit in which you have to compete in at least three events to be in with a chance to be crowned 2010 GTour champion.

The Order of Merit competition is based on best 3 scores and uses the unique Gtour scoring system which is points based and weighted on competitors and event position.

Individual events are based on the Stableford scoring system off 3/4 handicaps and are open to all abilities with a handicap restriction of 28 and 36 for men and women respectively.

Run by golfers for golfers "Gtour" is the UK's amateur golf tour for wannabe Tigers and Sorrenstams.

Brought to you by Golfscoretracker and Gforce Events, Gtour is the only UK amateur tour to be played predominantly on the weekends. Gtour will be played out between February and November.
