New Kaddey Switch Trolley Now Available
Kaddey have unveiled their new trolley, the Switch. Their brand ethos of companionship functionality, sustainability, style, quality and service is present in the latest product.
The Amsterdam-based golf gear company have started its expansion into the wider European market. Every team member of Kaddey are golfers and they are widely represented across all ages.
The Kaddey brand name was inspired by the experience of having a caddie present with you on the course. These products have been developed to ‘Make Your Day’ – similar to a caddie’s expansive knowledge.
“We attach great importance to quality in design, use of materials and service. Kaddey develops, designs and creates products that we would like to use ourselves out on the course,” said Nick Van der Plaat, one of the co-founders of Kaddey.
“When building the Kaddey brand, we think about our experience playing links golf; having a local caddie is a real asset to your performance because they know the course like the back of their hand. They are a specialist off the tee, know the breaks on the greens, offer sound advice on club selection and tell great stories.

The new Kaddey Switch has been designed to alter the way that golfers utilise their trolley, offering the opportunity to painlessly shift between pushing downhill or while on the fairway, to pulling uphill or through the rough.

The Switch trolley is carefully shipped to customers and the packaging is made of cardboard and most of the parts have a stamp with the material code to facilitate a smooth recycling process,” said Nick.

The Kaddey idea was visualised throughout the golf courses that surround Amsterdam. By watching numerous golfers struggle to unpack or erect trolleys, the visionaries at Kaddey thought there was a simpler approach.
“We were inspired to approach golf equipment from a fresh perspective. As avid golfers, we would often see products that we thought could be built better, smarter and more attractive. This is how Kaddey was born,” Nick added.
“The spark happened at the parking lot at golf clubs. Golfers unfolding their small packages, packed and dirty trunks, twisting bags, broken brakes – we experience a lot of frustration from golfers and that’s no good for your mentality when you’re about to head out onto the course.
“After a lot of analysing, brainstorming and prototypes, this has resulted in a new take on a golf trolley,” he concluded.
