Gastro Golf personnel will accompany clients on scheduled tours of over eight paying guests. The bespoke tours comprise four- or five-night breaks, including three or four rounds of golf, bed & breakfast accommodation in luxury hotels, visits to local wineries, gourmet dinners, as well as guided tours of towns and cities, and trips to local points of interest. TOUR 1 - COSTA BRAVA, SPAIN

DATES: May, September and October. Departing Monday or Thursday for 4 nights.

ITINERARY: Flying to Girona airport, guests will enjoy four night’s B&B accommodation in Girona, with activities include 3 or 4 rounds of golf, including one at PGA Catalunya’s Tour Course; a tour and tasting at Peralada Winery, a gourmet dinner with Emporda DOC wines at Castella Peralada, plus an evening sightseeing tour of Girona. 

The package, which does not include flights, costs £895pp sharing a double or twin room. The price includes all transfers, one gourmet dinner, winery tours, and also includes a personalised VIP golf pack plus a welcome drink on arrival at the hotel and at each golf course.

TOUR 2 – LISBON’S GOLF COAST, PORTUGAL

DATES: May and October. Departing Tuesday or Thursday for 5 nights.

ITINERARY: Flying to Lisbon International, this five-night tour will be based in Cascais, a 30-minute drive west of Lisbon, where guests will enjoy four night’s B&B accommodation in the five-star Ritz Carlton Penha Longa Resort, taking in rounds at a choice of the region’s top championship courses, including Penha Longa, Oitavos Dunes, Praia d’el Rey, Dolce Campo Real, and Lisbon Sports Club.

Between rounds, golfers will be treated to a private dinner at a famous coastal seafood restaurant near Cascais, a full days’ excursion into Lisbon, including wine cellar tour and tasting, plus overnight stay, and finally lunch with a sightseeing tour of historic Alfama ‘Old Lisbon’ in a Tuk-Tuk.

The price, which includes all transfers, greens fees, accommodation, tours and one hosted lunch and dinner, but excludes flights and all other meals, is £895pp. The package also, includes a personalised VIP golf pack and a drink on arrival at the hotel and each golf course.

TOUR 3: LOGROÑO & La RIOJA, NORTHERN SPAIN

DATES: May & October. Depart Thursday or Monday for 4 nights.

ITINERARY: Flying into Bilbao or Santander, this four-night golf and wine tour will be based in the historic city of Logroño, the capital of  La Rioja, which is arguably Spain’s most famous wine region.

Guests will stay in a traditional four-star finca on a B&B basis, from which they will enjoy visits to three local golf courses, each boasting spectacular views of the vineyards and mountains. The package includes visits to a local wine producer for a tasting and dinner; a tour of the Unesco World Heritage La Rioja Wine museum, and a guided tour through Logroño’s Old Town and the famous Laurel area, renowned for its traditional culture, tapas bars and pinchos.
