American Golf has confirmed that the winners of this year’s American Golf Grand Finals at the Belfry will qualify for the inaugural Tournament of Champions at the stunning Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort in Mauritius.

Situated on the unspoilt south coast of Mauritius, Heritage Resorts offer luxury hospitality, superb beaches and arguably the best golf in the Indian Ocean.  Varied culinary concepts across 12 restaurants, exceptional spas, nature reserve and a 19th Century historic chateau complete the recipe for what will undoubtedly be a trip of a lifetime.

“American Golf has built a fabulous portfolio of events, so it is our pleasure to be able to provide their Grand Final prizes this year.  We look forward to welcoming them to Heritage Resorts and giving the champions an unforgettable experience here in Mauritius,” comments Jonathan Menteath, general manager, Heritage Golf Club.

As well as enjoying a relaxing, luxurious break the winners will also be battling it out in the American Golf Tournament of Champions at the award-winning Heritage Golf Club. In November, the 18-hole championship golf course will host the AfraAsia Bank Mauritius Open, the only tri-sanctioned tournament in the world by the European, Asian and Sunshine Tours. It will be a real test of these golfers’ skills.

“Mauritius has it all; sun, sea and superb golf. The facilities at Heritage Resorts are fabulous so we are very proud to be working with them this year,” comments Daniel Gathercole Director of Marketing & Communications at American Golf.  “There’s no doubt that bragging rights drive people to enter our tournaments, but with this prize the heat will definitely be on at The Belfry.”
