Bermuda Trophy Competitors in the Pink Thanks to Royal & Awesome

By: Golf Shake | Mon 19 Jan 2015

Competitors in this year’s fifth annual Women & Golf Bermuda Trophy were in the pink on the holiday island thanks to Royal & Awesome.

Scotland’s most dazzling golf apparel brand was joint sponsor of the event and provided each of the record field of 56 players – from seven countries – with an item of apparel from its Pink Ticket range.

Promoter Alison Root, the editor of Women & Golf, said: “All the ladies donned their Pink Ticket in a team competition and what a sight they were to behold – it even made the locals turn their heads.

“Women & Golf is delighted by the incredible success of this event and this year 56 ladies certainly put on the style and certainly caught the eye in their Royal & Awesome gear.”

The overall winner of the event was Diane Griffiths, from Notts Golf Club (Hollinwell), who added: “It was a holiday experience I shall never forget.”

Royal & Awesome brand director Graeme Smeaton added: “It was clear speaking to some of the competitors that they had an absolutely fabulous time in an excellent, well-organised event, and we were only too happy to support it to help them ‘think pink!’.”

Royal & Awesome’s range of eye-catching golf trousers, shorts and hats is ‘perfect for the pars and the bars’. The brand also boasts selection of plus-twos as well as women’s trousers, shorts and skorts in dazzling designs, complemented by a range of men’s and women’s shirts, socks and belts.

The ‘Awesomes’ – the brand’s range of brightly designed golf trousers – build on the wonderful heritage and history of golf in Scotland by adding a whole lot of fun and colour, and are guaranteed to make an impact on the course, the clubhouse or the corporate jolly.

All of its ‘bottoms’ come with a free golf tool/bottle opener, which is a nod to the strap line of ‘for the pars and the bars’.
Royal & Awesome also has a huge following on social media, with more than 150,000 Facebook fans and approaching 2,000 on Twitter, thanks in part to the recent launch of the ‘Tricky Series’ featuring trick-shot specialist Rob Brown, which has been viewed by more 25,000 people.
