Nike Golf Shoes Review - Nike AIR MAX G & Nike Infinity Tour

By: | Tue 01 Aug 2023

Nike have released two new shoes to the golf market, with the Nike Air Max 90G and the Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour options being offered to golfers worldwide.

Golfshake Equipment Expert, Ryan Rastall, was sent a pair of each design and shares his thoughts below.

Nike AIR MAX 90G

Nike Air Max

The Nike AIR MAX 90G has been designed specifically for golf, meaning they will be durable during any circumstance when out on the golf course. They feature a visible Max Air unit in the heel, which helps cushion each step and provide ultimate comfort when golfing. Furthermore, a full-length phylon foam midsole delivers a stable feel with further lightweight comfort.

They feature a spikeless design for great versatility and the integrated traction outsole helps to promote a seamless heel-to-toe transition - this traction pattern provides brilliant grip in all conditions. By utilising a synthetic leather and performance mesh upper, this shoe is durable and a lightweight option for those looking to freshen their footwear options.

What Ryan Says

“The golf version of this shoe blends some of the tradition we see with Air Max 90 and features that we need out on the golf course, such as overlays to make them waterproof.”

Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour

Nike Air Zoom

The Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour golf shoes have been crafted with sophistication in mind. They boast a fantastic fit with superb comfort and excellent response. A lightweight breathable upper is combined with a strong internal support structure that will issue golfers plenty of stability and support throughout the golf swing.

Nike have listened closely to feedback and this edition features updated forefoot cushioning and more traction, which is positioned in vital areas to help reduce the chance of slipping. There are two spikes placed on the forefoot and another two towards the heel, which will supply further grip in tougher conditions.

What Ryan Says

“In terms of that locked-in feeling, it’s definitely here. It’s more of a narrower fit than the Air Max but they are comfortable and look very good out on the golf course.”
