The Best Putters in Golf For 2021

By: Golfshake Editor | Mon 23 Aug 2021

Golfshake Gear Expert Ryan Rastall recently hosted a Odyssey putter day at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, showcasing the impressive putter line up to Golfshake members and members of Howley Hall.

Golfers were given the opportunity to test out the latest putters, get insights from Ryan and also go through a putter fitting process to find out what type of putter would suit them.

Is this the best line up of putters on the market in 2021?  This video talks through the Odyssey range for 2021, with focus on Triple Track, along with a Jon Rahm putting tip and full 2021 Odyssey lineup. Further content coming soon in relation to the fitting experience.

Odyssey Triple Track

The Triple Track range is targeted at golfers who may struggle to start putts on the correct line and helps to provide a more efficient way to ensure that aligment is on track.

Ryan commented:  “Triple Track is something that has been around for a couple of years but now it’s also available throughout the golf ball range with Callaway. There are lots of different head shapes available in this series and if you’re that type of player that doesn’t hit the middle of the face too often, the 2-ball Ten Range encompasses Triple Track to further enhance putting confidence.

Putting Like a Major Champ

When it comes to putting, Jordan Spieth might be the first name that springs to mind. However, due to his recent dominance and excellent performance with the putter, Jon Rahm has seriously propelled himself as one of the hottest putters on Tour.

At its core, putting is the simplest element of the game of golf – align, hit, sigh. However, as golfers, we tend to overthink this and work ourselves into a little bit of a frenzy as we burn the edges of a hole for the tenth consecutive time.

Recently, Jon Rahm has converted to the Odyssey Rossie OG putter which is a shape that is familiar to him and one that clearly suits his eye. Moreover, a recent putting head change has an inspiring message: ‘putt like a kid’.  Watch the video above to check out a simply drill you can try and see if you can simplify your putting and thought processes!
