Golf Pride launches new CP grip with updated comfort features

Golf Pride has expanded its popular CP grip range with the launch of the new CP, an updated model that continues the brand's focus on comfort while introducing several refinements.

Designed for players who prefer a softer feel, the latest CP combines the tacky, cushioned performance the range is known for with new traction zones and a reduced taper profile to encourage lighter grip pressure throughout the swing.

Among the key updates are localised tack and traction zones, which provide extra grip under the lead hand while maintaining a secure connection with the trail hand. The soft rubber construction is designed to dampen impact vibrations for a more cushioned feel, while the reduced taper - incorporating Golf Pride's Plus4 Technology - creates a thicker lower hand section to help minimise tension during the swing.

The CP range has become a popular choice across all levels of the game and has featured on the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour and PGA TOUR Champions during the 2026 season.

Commenting on the launch, Golf Pride President Jamie Ledford said: "For a lot of players, feeling good on the course is what matters more than birdies and bogeys. With the new CP, we're giving golfers a grip that delivers comfort, confidence and a consistent connection to the club throughout the round."

The new Golf Pride CP grip will be available in Standard and Midsize options. The Standard model goes on general sale from 4 August, with the Midsize version following shortly afterwards through golf retailers and online stockists.
