How They Make Irons at PING

By: Golfshake Editor | Mon 19 Aug 2019

PING have long been renowned for producing some of the best irons on the market, including the new Blueprint. But just how are these exquisite clubs manufactured? PGA Pro and Golfshake's resident equipment expert, Ryan Rastall grapsed the opportunity to take a tour with Mike Lea for an insightful look around the PING Factory at Gainsborough.

Following the journey of a new set of irons from start to finish, Mike talks through each stage of the process, explaining the technology behind a variety of irons, and providing a look behind how each aspect of an iron is produced, hopefully offering greater understanding into the clubs that are in your bag.
