Gtour next event Carden Park

By: Darren Ramowski | Thu 17 Sep 2009

The next stop on the Gtour Amateur tour visits the impressive De Vere Carden Park in Cheshire to play the Nicklaus course.  With over 30 players registered so far it should be a great day with some high Order of Merit points available. To secure you place register here today .

Gtour 'Stella Trophy' sponsored by Bunker Mentality

The event will be sponsored by Bunker Mentality and as well as the usual prize pool on offer there will be additional prizes up for grabs including the Stella Trophy.

Bunker Mentality for golf addicts, people with a love of the great game and who have a different mentality will soon be releasing the 2010 season collection .

As well as the usual photographer on the day we may also look to do some video footage so watch out for some interviews!

De Vere Carden Park - Nicklaus Course

The setting of the Par 72 Nicklaus Course, with numerous hazards and spectacular holes across streams and lakes and views over the border to the Welsh Hills is outstanding. This is only the fourth course that the golfer of the 20th century turned his hand to and is described as a "thinking man's golf course" with double option holes on the 7th and 15th where golfers have to choose which fairway to attack the green from which will be great test for those taking part in the next event in October.

Course reviews:

Top course , this is the home of golf for me !!!!! Courses in very good condition and facilities are top class

Probably the best courses in Cheshire.

Played the Nicklaus course and was very impressed. Some good water features on the course so take plenty of balls!

Have played both courses here. Nicklaus has a more open aspect but is challenging with some great risk reward holes.
