Course near Alton Towers?

Apparently i'm to take the teenagers to Alton Towers sometime in May or June so hoped to able to drop them off and get a round in.
Any recommendations for courses in the vicinty?

we have corporate membership at Uttoxeter golf club lovely little course but a few blind holes. have played Ashbourne quite a few times and have always had a warm welcome love the course but never played it well.
