A mature, rather hilly course, in a very nice setting. The holes are pretty short for big hitters, you can generally hit the par 5's in 2 if you can drive 250 + (depending on the wind). The greens are pretty tricky to hit, due to elevation and undulation, they're well kept and true. If you putt well and have a good short game you can score well. The great thing about this course is that the members and staff are so friendly, makes for a great atmosphere.

With a 2fore1 price of £15 its a must play course!
Friendly staff and members, proper par 5's, undulating greens, well kept fairways and a nice club house are on the plus side.
Down side; it is a bit hilly and green to tee's can be a bit of a trek; however, buggies are available from pro shop but prob best to book one tho as there didn't seem that many?

Very tough with unforgiving rough miss the fairway at your peril. Beef and Onion ciabatta tremendos

I played in the Seniors Open off white tees. The back 9 was particular tough with a mixture of water, wind and distance causing problems for mid-handicap golfers. The greens were a bit bumpy later on but the ball still ran true.
The clubhouse gave us a friendly welcome with a good selection of food on offer.
We've already booked for next year.
