What the club says: The 18-hole "Prairies" course at the The Prairies facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan features all the hallmarks of Michigan golf. Prairies golf course opened in 1912. The Prairies golf club is open to the public at all times. Play this player friendly course, with plenty of challenge for the experienced player, yet enjoyable for the average player.
The course has many maple and oak trees lining its fairways. In addition, the fairways are defined by a thick cut of prairie grass rough. The terrain is hilly, so expect uneven lies.
