What the club says: The location of the course at the foot of a mountain distinguishes undoubtedly the touch Robert Trent Jones Snr. used to bring to life the Club de Golf El Bosque. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, the prestigious designer took advantage of the location in order to add beauty and movement to the 18 freeways of the course. With a par of 72 and 6.249 metres from professional tees, the Club de Golf El Bosque is considered an ideal field for top level competitions. A technical route in which the right choice of the club will be essential if we want to obtain a good result.

The course has a very ondulating profile that allows an interesting variety of shots. Some water, blind shots in some fairways and uphill greens.
Peaceful and funny.

Fabulous course to play in the Valencia region. Buggy recommended due to hilly conditions

Beautiful course - good condition - but take a buggy if it's a hot day!
Staff very friendly and helpful. 19th terrace has a great view of the tricky 18th.

After reading so many positive things it is perhaps unfortunate that we seemed to play on a day when they had clearly had a recent spell of rain as the course was quite damp but even so the fairways had a lot of marks on them and were no in good condition for a course that is meant to be of this stature. The tees and greens were in good condition still, albeit a few un-repaired pitch marks and the course I can imagine playing well on a sunny day.

It was quite a difficult back 9 with no sighting of the water hazards but plenty forgiving for those who aren't too straight off the tee generally.

The bar and club shop had very helpful and friendly staff but overall we felt it did not offer good value for money as even with a discounted round of 60 EUR each using a golf booking service we still paid another 100 EUR for buggy hire and club hire for two so overall 220 EUR for everything and for that I would expect buggies with GPS, water, tees or extra levels of support provided.

I would imagine it is probably caught on a bad day but I would look to play other courses in the area if here again than chance another round here.

(Round played: Oct 2016 - Score: 105 Handicap: 23.9)
