What the club says: Founded in 1878, Broughty Golf Club is one of the original golf clubs in Monifieth and shares the Medal and Ashludie Courses with Monifieth Golf Club.
The Medal Course has recently undergone a 3 year recovery programme under the head greenkeeper Scott Rennie and is in excellent condition with well grassed narrow running fairways, lush semi-rough, penal heavy rough and fast consistent greens not to mention the deep revetted bunkers to test any standard of golfer.
The Ashludie Course; A compact and challenging test of golf, the Ashludie course designed by James Braid requires more brain than brawn, demanding accurate iron shots to the well respected greens. At just over 5000 yards in length this course offers any golfer immense enjoyment played on its own or as a second round in a days outing.
