What The Club Says

The Club Golf D'Aro - Mas Nou was designed by architect Ramón Espinosa.
It features a par 72, 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole par 3s course, both of them in the heart of nature and with spectacular views of the Costa Brava, Les Gavarres, Montseny and the Valle de La Selva.

The course at Club Golf d´Aro combines quality and beauty. Its design included flattening the slopes in the area to make sure that it did not become a course that tires players out.
The variety of holes makes it into a very enjoyable course to play, and its layout calls for great accuracy from golfers, especially when driving off the tee. Most of the greens are quite large and fast.
The 6th, 14th and 15th are the most complex holes to play because of their design and the lie of the land. From the tee on the 15th you have perhaps the finest vista in the entire complex with sea views from Cape Begur to Tossa de Mar. Its raised tee makes it into a very spectacular hole.
A large lake is strategically sited for the drive (a 1 iron) and the green. Although most tee shots call for accuracy and placement, the course is also very attractive for amateur players.

Played here some years ago when I was a junior golfer (hcp approx 12 at time). It is still the one course that sticks out as a favourite some 20+ years later. Would love to revisit one day. It has everything a Mediterranean course should have with the bonus of elevation and wrapping round a mountain.
Breathtaking course when finishing at sunset.

Lovely course. Quoite easy to get caught out on a number of holes by hitting it too long, or a slightly wayward shot vanishing over the cliff.
Our three ball loved it and would definitely go back to play again.
