We went as a group of 6, unfortunately just after the really hot weather, the greens were slightly scorched and the fairways not at the best, but well worth a visit. I would definately go back and play when at its best. The course staff were very helpful, I would recommend hiring a buggie.
My ratings are judged on the course condition as we played it.

Tees need a bit of work. Yellow tees aren't big enough for the traffic. Stroke saver a must. Good greens. Very nice, modern clubhouse with a great gym. Lad in the shop a bit grumpy!

I love Alenda, the staff are lovely and the course is great. Sadly I visited as the greens were having work done so not as pure as normal.

Lovely Course and very well looked after by the hard working green keepers.
Rather difficult, hard course to play. Can be windy at times but that just makes it more enjoyable. If playing it for the first time get a buggy. There are a number of long steep hills. The Pro staff are very helpful and easy to get on with. The bar/cafe/restaurant serves excellent food with very the nicest of staff to cater to you. Love going there and look forward to it every winter.

Alenda is a testing 6470 yard parkland course, demanding accuracy from the tee.
Alenda presents a very tough test of Golf and can match any course in the area. The course is not undulating and is very pleasant to walk. However, some holes do rise and this can affect the run of the ball.
The course design was based on the recommendation of James Braid when the Club moved to its present excellent site at Gateacre in 1938.
Over the years it has undergone some alterations, mainly to increase the length.
In addition to the course the Clubhouse is extremely attractive, serves excellent food and has a friendly, hospitable atmosphere.
Childwall ranks with the very best of courses in this area of very fine Golf Clubs.

Alenda is a good place to play golf, the greens are usually very true ad tack a ball well - tees are a little shappy though. The good people that work there also make it a pleasant experience.

Very challenging course. Never too busy probably because it is expensive. 50 euros a game!
