The course is in great condition, the wholes are a very good test for golfers of all levels. Highly recommend a visit.

like a lot of Spanish golf courses this is a resort course that depends heavily on tourist participation and that participation is beginning to increase. whilst that is good for the course it does bring with it the problem of slow play. The course and the team were their usual helpful and professional selves but unfortunately one off visitors are less mindful of rate of play.

Alenda golf, Alicante Spain
This is my golf club so I may be biased but in my humble opinion it is the best course in Alicante. The office staff are most helpful and welcoming with a good club shop with all the facilities available to walk in empty handed and still be able to enjoy a game of golf on a very well maintained course. From club hire to balls and tees you will find everything required to enjoy your day. Ground staff are always on hand to assist you on the course and when you complete your round there is a very warm welcome at the cafe/bar where there is a plentiful array of food and drink.As you would expect from such a location there are plenty of patrons playing the course, many of whom are vacationing in Spain which does slow down the pace of play (my average round time 4 hours 30 as a 27 handicapper of 73 years of age). Remember that you are also a guest, stay calm and observe golf etiquette rules and you will have a most enjoyable experience.

Great Start
Lovely course, set very close (16 mins) fro the airport. Gives you a very clinical feel when ui first see the car park and club house, almost looks like a hospital, but the facilities and course are beautiful to use and play. Well worth visiting.Reviewer Rating

My golf club

Fantastic course worth visiting, hidden gem in the Alicante area

Played a game at Alenda Golf Club yesterday and was not dissapointed, excellant challenging course in prime condition. Greens are in top condition fast but fair, tee boxes and fairways also in great condition. I also noticed plenty of grounds staff maintaining the course another good sign. Staff in the clubhouse are extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Alenda Golf Club.Reviewer Rating

Alenda Golf (Spain)
Easy location (up the A31 from Alicante) and excellent facilities (restaurant, locker room, gymnasium and a good golf shop) it also has a good amount of buggies for hire (essential in the summer months). The course is well kept with a good ground staff, a little taxing, not overly, so can be a good contest for all handicappers.Reviewer Rating

Great golf complex
Alenda Golf is a great Golf complex. Brilliant practice facilities, lovely restaurant, and a challenging, but fair, golf course. A great mix of holes.4 tricky par 3s, 4 different par5s, and some long difficult par 4s. Well worth a visit. All staff extremely helpful, and lunch was great.

I have not played Alenda for about 5 years and was pleasantly surprised at the improvements and general smartening up of the course. My only complaint was that the fairways had been cut very tight resulting in the odd bare patch.
