What The Club Says
Guardian Bom Sucesso Golf is an 18 hole Championship Golf course designed by the legendary Donald Steel. It stretches along the length of a resort which is made up of villas and apartments and other leisure facilities. The proximity of the sea and the Obidos Lagoon offers breathtaking views from some parts of the golf course. The front nine offers an even elevated terrain offering those fantastic views, while the back nine is played with more undulation, making its way through a forest of Eucalyptus trees. It is a par 72 course, with an area exceeding 600,000 square meters. During construction, the project was overseen by the chairman of the British Association of Golf Course Constructors, which defines its high quality and adaptability to international standards.

Lovely course with great views
This is one of the 4 courses in the little lagoon/ beach triangle in Obidos. The first 9 move you in a circle to bring you back to the club-house, and the second 9's circle takes you onto higher ground from where there are great views, and the 17th and 18th then drop you back down. Nice course, excellent greens, and a challenge without being unfair.Reviewer Rating

Well worth a visit
Not as well known as some of the other courses nearby but very challenging and well thought out.. Once it's fully established (quite a lot of building work still going on at the complex) and the groundsmen have spent time on the greens and fairways this will be up there with others like Prai d'el Rey. Cheapest course we played with very attentive staff, couldn't do enough to help you.Reviewer Rating

Bom-improving all the time
BS is improving as a golf course all the time and is an enjoyable golfing experience. The course is the least challenging of the 5 neighboring courses that we played over the week..,.yet tested us on our 1st day. The fairways are good and the greens really through. It was very busy and seems to get a lot of throughput. Add it to your itinerary.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 23)

Bom Sucesso playing well
Bom Sucesso was playing well. The greens are in good shape and although the fairways were soft placing on them was allowed/encouraged. The bunkers were well sanded and were relatively easy to play out of despite the rain. This was a great course to start our weeks golf in Portugal. Price was reasonable.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 21.8)

Easy to find course
The staff were very friendly and helpful to ensure we had a good game of golf at pace. The pro shop was quite small. It had adequate stock to supply your needs if you have forgotten anything. The course was enough to challenge you but it was not the best course in the area. In saying that, the price was reflective. Not sure I would play again as there are better courses in the area.Reviewer Rating

An interesting course with some fine greens but with fairways under pressure from the fine weather,
Heavy traffic and perhaps a lack of care. Good value and bunkers a fair but decent challenge. 18th is a decent finishing hole and second shot a great test for both the high and low handicapper. A tough challenge on the day for me on my first visit to this course.
